not be one of the 6 exempt occupations like cooks, food service supervisors,

bookkeepers, and retail sales supervisors.
Family Class
Sponsorship:
Canadian government believes in keeping families together
and so prioritizes the process of family class sponsorship. Family members that
are Canadian citizens or permanent residents can sponsor a family member living
abroad. In order to qualify, the sponsor must:
- Prove that they will be able to financially support the applicant if necessary
- Need to enter into an agreement with the government as well as the sponsor relative, where the sponsor will agree to support the family member for certain period
- Prove their intention to live in Canada
- Be atleast 18 years of age
- Not be charged with any serious offence
- Not be bankrupt
- Not to be under removal order if a permanent resident
